Steps To Get A Verified Badge On Instagram:

Go to your Instagram profile
Tap the menu icon
Select “Settings” located at the bottom of the screen
Tap on the “Request Verification”

Instagram new verification system will require your account username, your full name, and a copy of your legal or business identification. In the documentation submission section, you can add Driver’s license, Voter Card, national ID cards or something of similar credibility. As per the company claims, the information provided by the user will not be shared publicly.

Also remember, don’t expect a verified account by just submitting a request for a verified account. After receiving your request, the Instagram team will verify all your information and based upon that, the further action of giving you the verified status will matter. Instagram will notify you of their result by sending you a notification.

“To be verified, an account must comply with Instagram’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. We will review verification requests to confirm the authenticity, uniqueness, completeness, and notability of each account.”

In case your request for a verified badge is turned down by Instagram, you can try your luck after 30 days.

Another factor that you need to know before applying for a verified profile is being in the list of “notable persons.” Yes, you heard it right.
